BIO

A little background on myself is that my name is Cameron Hajagos and I’ve been creating art ever since I can remember. When I was younger I would watch a lot of cartoons and in turn I would draw a lot of my own cartoon characters.
When I got to high school I saw some other kids that were in graffiti crews that really weren’t artist but were writing on walls. I thought I could do better so I started to develop my own graffiti styles trying to do more then just letters but creative color ways and adding characters to all my pieces. The other kids really started to pay attention to my art and liked what I was doing so I just stuck with it. I started writing Monster since I loved drawing monsters and creepy characters but eventfully dropped the “N” , “T”, and “E” to just write MOSR since it was easier and faster to write when writing on the walls. I eventual started my own graffiti crew VBK with a my close friend that I’m still really good friends with who writes MOEK but then later joined another Crew where I learned a lot more of the graffiti world where we would go painting late at night or in the middle of the day painting pieces under freeways or bridges where I started to learn how to control a paint can and throw up my name.
When I got out of high school I slowed down on graffiti and really started focusing on canvases and my characters since it I saw a lot of my friends getting in trouble from the cops. After high school I went to Mount San Antonio Collage to learn graphic design. I started working in the apparel industry developing and designing clothing while going to school. But in those 9 years I never gave up my own art. Every week I would push myself to create art and learn new things, never staying in one spot. I unfortunately broke my leg in early 2013 in a motorcycle accident, but it gave me time to further develop my painting skills since I no longer could work or walk for a year. During that year I figured out that continuing school would be pointless because I had learned so much more on my own so I just stuck with it.
Now a days I"m continuing to push myself too keep creating and painting because every time I paint I developing more and more. The more time I put into art the more I will get out of it. I’ve recently began to get some attention in the art world with showing some of my paintings in Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles and At SPOKE-ART in New York City/Hawaii/San Francisco . This is just the beginning of what’s to come of me.
